Terms of Service

The rental service is provided by Airport Rent a Car, based in Mojanovići, Montenegro. The guest is the natural or legal person who confirms a booking via the website or by direct agreement with us.

Bookings are made online: choose dates and location, an available car, enter your details and documents, then confirm. After a successful confirmation we email you a reference number.

Availability is checked at booking time. In rare cases (technical issue or a simultaneous booking) we may offer a replacement of the same or a higher class, or cancel the booking and refund any amount already paid.

The driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid driving licence. At pick-up you must present a valid ID (passport or national ID) and the driving licence entered at booking.

Additional drivers must be registered in advance and meet the same requirements.

Every price line (rental, insurance, extras, any fees) is shown before you confirm. There are no hidden costs.

We do not require a deposit and we do not block funds on your card. Payment is due at pick-up unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Seasonal / promo prices on the website apply for the period shown; the total that should be charged is also noted on the reservation.

You choose pick-up and return location and time when booking (including Podgorica, Tivat, Tirana and Dubrovnik airports). Please tell us about delays as early as possible — we try to match flight times.

The car is returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up (same-to-same) unless otherwise agreed. Fuel differences and obvious damage not reported at pick-up are charged at actual cost.

Only the registered driver(s) may drive the car, in line with traffic laws. Prohibited: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, racing, carrying hazardous materials, sub-renting, exceeding the passenger limit or overloading the vehicle.

Crossing a national border is allowed with prior arrangement. A fee may apply for some countries — select the cross-border option when booking or contact us.

Basic insurance required under Montenegrin law is included in the rental.

Optional full insurance (if selected at booking) is charged as shown in the booking. It covers vehicle damage in full, except tyres (puncture, damage or replacement of tyres is not covered).

For full insurance to apply to a given incident, the guest must obtain and provide an official police report for any damage — regardless of severity — and notify us immediately. Without a police report, full-insurance cover for that damage does not apply.

Full insurance does not apply, and the guest bears the cost, if the damage resulted from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, gross negligence, intent, use outside permitted purpose (e.g. racing), an unqualified or unregistered driver, lost keys, or other excluded circumstances. The same rules on intoxication and lawful use apply even without full insurance.

We aim to deliver an accurate and timely service. We are not liable for loss caused by force majeure, flight delays, traffic congestion or circumstances beyond our control, except where the law requires otherwise.

Cancellations are governed by the Cancellation Policy on this website.

These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro. We try to resolve disputes amicably; otherwise the courts of Montenegro have jurisdiction.
